March 1, 1990, the Blue Water Center for Christian Counseling, P.C.
was established to provide professional counseling for individuals
and families in the Blue Water Area. Counseling at the Center is provided
from a Christian perspective, which gives opportunity for individuals
to integrate their faith in God into the treatment process. Sound
psychological principles are utilized in addition to promises in Scripture
that address the power of God in one's recovery.
The Blue Water Center for Christian Counseling, P.C.
recognizes that the family unit is the most important institution
in our society today. It is within the healthy family system that
a child's personality is molded and the adult is able to have his/her
basic needs met. We recognize that the pressures of today's society
have placed tremendous strain on the family unit resulting in much
confusion, pain and uncertainty in the lives of children and adults
alike.
The Center is organized to provide help in three
major categories: recovery, enrichment, and prevention.
