For
the past 28 years of his career, Dan has worked to establish
the family as an environment that helps its members to grow
into their full potential. Dan is registered with the State

(ACSW), the National Association of Social Workers as a Diplomat
in Clinical Social Work (NASW), the National Association of
Christians in Social Work (NACSW), the American Association

his peers by being selected as the Social Worker of the Year
in the Blue Water Area. In 1997 he received the Spirit of Port
Huron Brotherhood Award for the work he has done to support
the low-income one-parent families through the establishment
of a non-profit organization called Bridge Builders Counseling,
Inc.
Dan was raised in the home of missionary
parents in the Central African country of the Congo. The heritage
of his parents lives on through Dans passion for reaching
out to those in need of emotional and spiritual healing. Dan
recognizes that the power to heal comes not from man but from
God. Its upon this foundation that he has chosen to offer
healing of the past, help in the present, and hope for the future.
